you can set gmail up to log in and pull emails directly off the server the same as if you were to do it from an email client (program) on your computer. Once that’s setup, you then delete the forwarder to gmail. Here are a couple of links to help with that:

To get the settings needed for retrieving your email from the our servers, you can login to webmail for any email account that we host. For instance, to login to an Arneu email account, login at www.arneu.com/webmail using your full email address in all lower-case letters and your password. Without selecting one of the three online email programs, scroll down to see your settings. You must use the secure ‘SSL’ type of settings.
