How to set custom MX Records when hosting your email externally:

1. Log into your site’s main control panel at http://www.YOUR-DOMAIN.TLD/cpanel (for example, http://www.mybusiness.com/cpanel) You'll need your cPanel login name and password (the same as your FTP login uses).
2. Under "Email Routing", set it to "Remote Mail Exchanger or "Automatically Detect Configuration" then click the "Change" button.
3. Navigate to "Mail" then "MX Entry" to add, edit or delete your MX records.
